Sentinels Drop pANcada And Sign Curry as 6th Man

The VCT Americas Kick-Off Champions have dropped their world champion controller player, pANcada after being in Brazil for the start of the season away from the team.

After the signing of Zellsis, he was supposed to just be the substitute for the team but after an illness left pANcada out of the team for a few games, they realised the team worked better with Zellsis in the starting lineup and pANcada returned to Brazil, which was seen at the time on his Instagram account.

Since the season has started, there has been no official announcement from the Sentinels organisation on the stand of pANcada until yesterday. They announced that he will be allowed to explore options without a buyout on their X account.

pANcada then responds to the someone good news (attention to the 0 buyout mention) with a message on his X account where he announces that the tweet from Sentinels was actually the first time he is hearing of the news of him being dropped from the team.

It seems to be that despite it originally being seemingly good news for the Brazilian, it could be seen that pANcada has been dealt with incorrectly and that despite being down as the sixth man of the roster, he hasnt attended any of the games in Kick-Off and has been dropped from the roster a week before Masters Madrid.

Only a few hours after the announcement of the Brazilian superstar being dropped from the roster, Curry has been signed as the new sixth man of the roster.

Curry explained on stream that he is the perfect sixth man:

‘They needed someone who is a good player but doesn’t want to be on a starting roster. That’s me’

After his career on Cloud9, Curry turned to content creation and made a name for himself for his series where he went from Iron to Radiant in every region in the world.

He stepped in for wippie for Cloud9 for the red bull homeground tournament this year and made it all the way to the final where they lost 3-2 against FNATIC and Curry put up very impressive numbers with no pre-tournament scrimming or practice.

As this announcement comes to fans across the world, people are left questioning what is next for pANcada? The current rumour is that he will wait until after Masters Madrid ends and then take a pick for the team he could join.

He is without a doubt, a world class player and will get a spot on a team because it is a question thrown around of is he the best controller player that VALORANT has ever seen? The evidence points to yes.
