Spectacular De Bruyne Gives City The Advantage Going Into The 2nd Leg Against Copenhagen

Manchester City defeat Copenhagen in the first leg of the round of 16 knockout stages in the champions league 3-1. The following game is set to be played at the Etihad where City are unbeaten for 15 months.

Since his return to the first team, De Bruyne has registered 9 goals contributions in 7 games. He seems to not be warming up and is right back to what Manchester City have been wanting all season long. That extra push to bring them over the line.

With 2 assists and 1 goal to put Manchester City ahead, De Bruyne looks on fire and the upcoming game against Chelsea in the Premier League looks to be very different to what it was earlier in the season with a magnificent 4-4 scoreline.

Jack grealish went off early into the first half with a seeming groin injury which looks doubtful to city fans as he hasn’t seen game time for a while now with the form that Phil Foden is currently in, who also scored a goal tonight to finish off the game in extra time.

Their next game is against Chelsea FC on the weekend at the Etihad which has become a fortress especially with De Bruyne in the starting lineup. Expectations coming into the game are City to take the win and regain the top spot in the Premier League.
