Jinggg Makes Shock Return To Paper Rex Starting Roster

The MVP of Paper Rex’s run in VCT 2023, has made a shock announcement saying that he will return to the Paper Rex starting lineup after retiring last year due to mandatory military service.

In a tweet released by @pprxteam on X, they announce that due to ‘medical reasons’ Jinggg has been exempt from Military service and is allowed to return to professional play and will return to the starting lineup for Split 1 of VCT Pacific replacing Monyet after a semi-final run at Masters Madrid.

On the 6th of October 2023, Jinggg was placed on the reserve roster for Paper Rex with the organization expecting him to serve is military service for 2 years and then possibly return to the scene after its completion.

However, that downside to the team ended early with a surprise to fans across the world in his return to professional VALORANT coming in the following weeks. It is expected that he will remain on the roster for the rest of the season with Monyet going to the bench and willing to step in if needed for any reason.

The thought is that Jinggg will go back to Raze and the team will retain their 2023 roster that got them second at Champions in LA and 3rd at Masters Tokyo. Fans were making the comparison between Monyet and Jinggg and it is tough to compare the two, as for over a year, Jinggg has been known as the best Raze player in the world and with the meta being all around Raze players such as Zekken, Aspas and t3xture, Jinggg is sure to find success with his return to VCT after just 6 months of retirement.

Paper Rex Eliminate Team Heretics From Masters Madrid

A gruelling match up between two teams that are on form this season battled it out for a spot in the 1-1 bracket and to fight for survival in this tournament and the outcome was one that upset the home fans in Madrid as the crazy style of Paper Rex was too much for Team Heretics.

f0rsaken has been put into history books once again as he debuted a new agent for the VCT with Raze after they moved from their triple duelist comp that seemed to work in Pacific VCT but didn’t win them anything here at Masters Madrid against the tough competition.

f0rsaken took up the Raze and Monyet moved onto the Omen which was a shock to some fans as f0rsaken has now ran nearly all of the agents to a high degree including Raze which he dropped 22 kills on and MVP’d the final map to take the win to Paper Rex.

They went down 6-1 with BenjyFishy had a ridiculous start to the map going 19-5 shutting down the A bomb site, however it took individual brilliance from something and f0rsaken with multiple 4k’s to send them to the map win and sending the home side back to EMEA.

Paper Rex will go on to face Karmine Corp as they were unable to repeat their game against EDG and was only able to face one of KC or LOUD and they got the French side who are creating waves across VALORANT with N4RRATE playing out of his skin this tournament,

Paper Rex Named as The First Team At Masters Madrid

Paper Rex take down T1 in the semi-finals of the VCT Pacific Kick-Off event to confirm their spot at Masters Madrid later in the year. After winning their game 2-0 they become the first confirmed team to make it to Masters after the conclusion of the Pacific kick off event sends GenG there alongside them as the Pacific representatives.

Paper Rex’s f0rsaken faced off against his brother, xcurrate, to decide which of the Susanto brothers will advance. xcurrate being a legendary AWP-er in the CSGO scene, has changed over to Valorant to try and compete against his younger brother who has made a name for himself alongside his team mates on Paper Rex with their crazy playstyle.

Their play style was in full form today with their first map on Split running a triple duelist comp with Yoru, Raze and Jett rather than the traditional single duelist. They won that game 16-14 in Overtime with a huge double kill from f0rsaken on the Yoru to give them the advantage.

They went on to dominate Ascent 13-6 with yet another crazy comp with Monyet running the Raze. Paper Rex end the run of T1 .

Despite not having the impact that Jingg did on the old roster, Monyet has filled in for Jingg on his abscence from the side and helped them advance onto Madrid.

The American import, Rossy, top fragged for T1 with their side now unfortunately making it impossible for them to go to Madrid to try and win their first international trophy.
