City Close Out 1-0 Victory Over Bournemouth

Phil Foden goal gives City the win over a troublesome Bournemouth keeping the pressure up on the title race with Arsenal and City closing in on Liverpool at the top spot.

Foden scored the only goal in the game in the 24th minute setting up what seemed to be a destruction of Bournemouth however they put up a strong battle against the Champions stopping them from scoring any more goals despite having 15 shots across the remainder of the match.

Phil Foden has really come into his own this season for his boyhood club. He has already matched his all time scoring record only halfway into the season with 16 goals for the Cityzens.

Kevin De Bruyne has returned recently however he is spending time on the bench in the last two games with Foden taking up the more central position and providing City with everything they need.

They managed to put Bournemouth behind them and now focus on their next game which is the Manchester derby where City are coming off the back of a 14 game unbeaten streak whilst United are coming off the back off a loss at home to Fulham in the last minute.

City fans will be hoping for another destruction of United with Haaland scoring another hattrick however it is unknown if he is back to his best yet with all the chances he is squandering recently.
