Kyle Walker: ‘I Came Very Close To Moving’

Kyle Walker tells The Sun that he was close to a move away to Germany to join Bayern Munich after his ‘baby scandal’ was exposed with his personal life.

After being silent on the matter for weeks now, Walker has come out with an interview with the Sun where he explains that he was considering a move away from England where all the drama was.

‘’ I was aware the clock was ticking. I came very close to moving. We were having conversations. I was going to a great club, a massive club. But in the end I couldn’t go. If I’m in Germany and this happens, Annie leaves and I’m now in Germany on my own…”

The thing that kept him in Manchester however, was his children. He says “My kids wouldn’t be around the corner where I can see them. There’s pain and emotion at the moment but I can go to the house, take the kids to school, and my little lad to football…”

Despite dealing with all of this pressure from his family and personal life, he kept it hidden from Pep Guardiola and his team mates because he ‘didn’t want him to think I wasn’t mentally there.’ Despite this, when it was all exposed online, he was still chosen for Manchester City duty and still chosen to wear the captain armband that was given to him during Kevin De Bruyne’s injury.

There has been no response from Manchester City officially as this article is written, however a response is expected within the next 24 hours on the position of the Captain of the club.
