Ex-100Thieves player Derrek has reached a verbal agreement with Evil Geniuses for the upcoming VCT Season after EG sold 4 of their 5 starting players from the Champions winning side.
After drama within the Champions winning organisation, they allowed their players to leave the team and look for better offers in the VCT league. With the only current player left from that 5 man side, being Jawgemo who is assuming to stay with Potter, the coach, and alongside new signing Derrek.
This report comes from jamesff on X where he announces a verbal agreement. There is no information on what role he will play for the team but the current rumour is that he will be on the initiator role with the organisation looking for a duelist, smokes and IGL for their VCT 2024 season.
Derrek left 100 Thieves on the 12th of September after a disappointing season with 100T in the Americas VCT not making any international events. He was dropped and seemed to be taking a hiatus away from competing until it was announced that EG were removing nearly all of their players for the upcoming season.
