How Manchester City Will Change Their Approach Against Aston Villa

With the suspension of key players, Rodri and Jack Grealish, Manchester City are set to send out a very different line-up than they are used to with the glue of their team being absent.

With the disappointing 3-3 draw against Spurs on the weekend, City come into this game with the game being a must win against villa after Arsenal won in their game against Luton with a last minute winner from Declan Rice.

Coming into this game, Manchester City are still without Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Jack Grealish. This is a big part of how the team plays meaning that Guardiola will have to adopt a slightly new style to his game with rumours of youngster, Rico Lewis, starting for the treble winners.

The big difference maker in this game is whether or not Erling Haaland can perform to his best as we know he can since there has been questions asked since the departure of Kevin De Bruyne from the starting team, his goals have dropped since last seasons record breaking 48 goals.

City fans are hopeful however, of the return of John Stones to the starting lineup with his injury seeming to have healed as he has appeared on the bench for the team in the last three games.

This game is a must win for the champions, if John Stones makes his return to the starting lineup, this can bring a big plus to the side.

The game is being played at Villa Park at 20:15GMT being streamed on Amazon Prime.
