‘I haven’t given it any thought yet’ Leroy Sane Responds To Manchester City Transfer Rumour

Leroy Sane has gone public in a press conference during his international duty responding to a question about his future with Bayern looking to extend his contract after his stellar start to the season.

He currently has 9 goals and 7 assists this season for Bayern Munich alongside ex-Premier League footballer Harry Kane who signed for the German giants this season.

Leroy Sane played for Manchester City for 4 years between 2016 and 2020 where he accumulated 135 appearances for the club. His time at Manchester City was well received by fans as he scored 39 goals and 32 assists for the club.

His transfer came as a shock to many Manchester City fans however, but many fans speculated it was due to being homesick as a German international player he decided it was best to leave Pep Guardiola’s side and go to Bayern Munich and go on to win 3 Bundesliga titles and reach finals of the Champions League where he faced his former club last season.

Despite leaving the club, he doesn’t have any bad will towards the club actually celebrating and congratulating their win of the Premier league in 2021 keeping a good bond with the club.

This does keep the door wide open for a return to the club. Which fans are hoping to be true.

Fans are in support of this return. It is just up to Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel to make a deal for this signing to come to fruition.
